Drafting Questions with V6

Hi all,

I'm new to the COE forums so my apologies if this is not the appropriate location for these three questions.   I appreciate any advice that you're able to support in these areas.

1.)   In V6, is there a way without modifying the standards template for drawings to change the default units.
For example: Use an ASME-ANSI B sheet but with mm instead of imperial units.

2.)   Is there a way denote multiple hole or feature QTY which is linked to a pattern.  For example, if I made a hole which was patterned 5x, I would like the hole dimension to populate 5x.

3.)   I've tried looking through the help guides but is there an out-of-the-box way to do a hole/thread depth call-out without using a section view?

Thank you again,

Michael

MM vs. Imperial: Go to Me: Preferences: Legacy Preferences: General: Parameters and Measure: select Millimeter for length. This should make all your models and drawings Metric from now on.

#2: Nope you've got to add it, but you set the preferences to show a red triangle in front and/or behind the dimension, which you can click and easily add text.

#3: If you make your holes a countersunk when created, use the thread dimension app, it'll dimension it however you set it during creation.
