Does anybody knows what is an non connex element?

I have a curve that lies on one surface, and CATIA V5R10SP4 tells that the curve is a non connex element.

I can't trim the surface with this curve.

Please, can anyone help me?

a non connex element is 1 element in the tree but several in space.

Your curve is 1 curve in the tree but several ones on the surface... analys your curve and your surface...
