As a COE member, you have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on training with the 3DEXPERIENCE through the Discovery Panel. The panel provides an opportunity to fully engage the software — to better understand its functionality and service — without spending the time and resources to set up your own environment and obtain licenses.
The next Discovery Panel will begin in early September and run through October 31, 2018. The topic of this panel will be Accelerated Device, featuring BEAMY, a smart mobile speaker with image projection capabilities. A request for product improvement comes from the marketing department because BEAMY owners use it more “off dock” than expected, thus, experiencing unpleasant battery power outages after three hours of projection time.
The project manager of the panel will be Jim Strawn from Textron Aviation. Strawn accepted the PLM Enterprise of the Year Award at the COE 2018 conference on behalf of Textron.
