If not, when will it be equivalent?
11 b. With regards to using ENOVIA V6 with CATIA V5, are there any known issues and any companies today using this configuration?

ANSWER(s):
a) ENOVIA V6 is more robust, flexible and has better performance when compared to earlier solutions including VPMV4 and V5. Additional enhancements for MPUE support are planned later this year.
Electronic signature routing, which enables collection of the ‘signatures’ of the various stakeholders to validate changes, for instance, can be implemented today using ENOVIA V6. Routes enable users to perform these types of tasks in parallel, giving more flexibility to the process
b) CATIA V5 data can be managed in V6 using the ENOVIA Designer Central for CATIA V5 product and offers many features such as:
The ability to start CATIA V5 and open parts and assemblies directly from Designer Central
Improved management of large assemblies and catalogs with better performance and usability
Improved synchronization of design work-in-progress and the engineering bill-of-materials to increase accuracy for downstream processes
Support of additional CATIA objects like CATShape documents
There are currently many customers in production today.
