Simulia and Abaqus for Catia V5

what is the difference "Simulia" and "Abaqus for Catia V5"? both the products are rom simulia and owned by DS

SIMULIA is the brand. There is no product called SIMULIA. SIMULIA is the DS brand resposible for all analysis products within DS. Within the SIMULIA brand there is: CATIA Analysis (and ANL/ATH), Abaqus for CATIA, Abaqus, Isight, and SLM.

NOTE:
CATIA is a brand. You really don't use CATIA. You use: Part Design, and so forth...

hi,can you tell me the difference between DS SIMULIA V5（such as DS SIMULIA V5 R20）and AFC？i just know the former requires  the ANL，ATH and RBM licenses，and the later needs the ACP and AFC licenses.

SIMULIA V5 is really a general term for either AFC/ACP or ANL&ATH.  The real question should really be what is the difference between AFC and ANL.  ANL is more or less a subset of AFC and thus does not require a base install of Abaqus. For more details on the differences I suggest you contact your local reseller or account manager.
