Hi Timothy,
This is an old link. I was curious about COE V6 Masters Program..... it is still going? IF so, is there a new link?
Thanks
Dave

Sorry,
I could get little assistance from the players that would need to progress the COE V6 Masters Program. Not even a place to learn about V6 for the COE volunteers. I may be all out wrong but it felt like DS wants total control and COE... Well I am not sure! Anyway the value of knowledgeable people about V6 outside of DS is something that is ahead of its time.
I will be happy to start this up again if or when the support grows and leadership starts the work again.

Hi Tim,
I hope this gets going. coe has a gold mine of users. Perhaps....DS is just busy, and the people at ds to manage this are putting out fires.
On the topic of training...have you looked at the SWYM ds site. It is the blogisphere for ds developers an other... and they opened it up to coe members at last years conference You can ask questions. They post V6 sales and training materials there.
I think that DS likes control, and coe also. In mfg, my area, we were so active they set up the coe members area on the forum so we can discuss frankly, wityhout the whole world looking in.
COE works and will be here for a long time.

Yes I have seen and am actively involved in several communities on 3DSwYm. I hope you are right and I am just one who has ideas before their time. 3DSwYm would be even better if the domain managers where actively part of the mix. Current communities are mostly topic based where someone with knowledge of who to talk to has set up the communities.
If 3DSwYm opened up invitations to the COE member volunteers to be active part of domain specific communities I think they may see more activity on 3DSwYm. With Autodesk moving more and more to cloud based PLM when will we see DS stand up a instance of V6 and invite COE member volunteers to be active part of it from their homes or offices? We need hands on time with the tools to be productive leaders in our respective domains.
DS should reopen the educational opportunities for the COE member volunteers.

Hi Timothy,
I agree with you. I plan to use my DS conections, to continue to advocate for DS to use the COE Members areas .....in addition to opening up 3dsSwYm.......because COE has thousands of users.
In MFG, Mark, and Jim have great support from the DS MFG managment....and that attracts user participation. Once users know DS is listening, the feel the are not wasting valuable time being active.
At every opertunity, I try to motivate DS leaders in other domains to simply say on this forum...."Hi, I am DS, and I am listening" I will keep banging that drum. swym simply does not have the traffic....on both the user or ds sides..to be effective.
