AEC Roll Call

AEC Roll Call

Instead of bumping my thread in the GD, I decided repost here:

Who out there is using CATIA in the AEC market? What are your results? What worked/didn't work?

I'm on the owners side in the AEC market and I'm interested in how CATIA could be leveraged.

David,

Hydro Quebec is one of our biggest accounts. Bath Iron Works (shipbuilding) also uses the Equipment and Systems applications. Both are V5 customers.

RE: AEC Roll Call

AEC Roll Call
(in response to David Adam Denysenko)
Hi David,

Here at SNC Lavalin Hydro division, Montreal Qc. Canada CATIA V5 is widely used and is our primary 3D CAD software. We design our Hydro installations, which include design in Geotechnical to Equipments and Systems and Analysis.

As for Equipments and systems we have , I would say now an extensive library for Piping, HVAC, Raceway and Conduit design. We are also in the midst of completing our Enovia V6 implementation. Our PLM solution for collaboration moving forward. In the past, we've worked with Windchill PTC, Smarteam and now Enovia V6.

Ciao,

Just saw that the Hampton Scott Group is running on Catia - is anyone from HSG on coe.org?

Hey,

Just wanted to chime in on this old post.  Zahner, Shop Architects, Mcgrath, Gehry Technologies (who previously used their own overlay on CATIA, Digital Project), and there are a few others.
