Display of CGI thumbnails of CATIA objects

How do we enable display of CGI thumbnails of CATIA objects in Enovia R2013x structured views?

Cameron,

Are you refering to the the thumbnails of Designer Central data or the 2D/3D Thumbnails generated for CATIA V6 model data?

Designer Central. How are "mxSmall Image" format objects created and how are they enabled for display in Enovia structured views?

From what I have seen, the images used for these thumbnails are generated through the 'Derived Outputs' functionality of the CAD Integration.  If you enable one of the image formats (png, tiff, jpg, etc) and your CAD Application can generate the image, it will be produced during the Integrations Save/Checkin operation and linked to the MCAD object as a Derived Output.

Also, if you set a CGR file (or 3DXML) to be generated, those file types are required for the viewer application to function.

Keep in mind these files are generated on the Save\Checkin operation from the CAD tool so any data currently in the system will not have an associated file until they have their version incremented.
