CATIA V5 whiz here, but total 3DX noob. I create a part, save it. Close it, come back and try to modify it. I can't, get an error saying: Modifications are not allowed on XXXXXX - The component is not editable
Plus some no-go looking icons on the spec tree. See attached image.
What am I missing?

I believe I solved my own problem. Lock it! Or well, in 3DX parlance Reserve it. I guess I'm used to ENOVIA V5 autolocking newly created part ref, instances & docs.
So my follow up question is: Where might I find that toggle to autolock newly created part in 3DX?

Your model was opened in 'Read Only' mode hence the 'No Entry' signs - this is due to a setting in your Preferences.
