I'm using CATIAV5 R18, I mostly work with drafting workbench the colour white is irritating to me how to change the colour white to black default and how to change the view placing colour black white

Hi,
You need to run Catia in Administration Mode and change color in Standard -> ISO-> General -> Sheet Colors -> Sheet Bacground -> Working view

I encourage you to read the document "CATIA V5 Administration Customizing Standards". Find it on Google.
Or you can find movie "How to enter Admin Mode - Catia v5 Training - Basics" on Youtube, but try to read document first. It's safer if you understand what you are doing.
Make a backup copy of your settings and files which will change (I mean xml with Standards).
