I got the specification of the Mounting Force of max 80 N and I have to find out the dimensions of the retaining clip.
Do somebody have a tool or know about one, that calculates a retaining clip?
It is possible to make this using FEA Analysis?
Any help is much appreciated.

Sorry, My fault.
there are two parts clipsed together with hand-force. The Maximum of this Mounting force is given (80N). I have to calculate the clipses, so that the given 80N is not exceeds.

Still need more info. What types of parts? Flat? What shape is the clip? what material is the clip made from? What is the objective? You want the clips to exert 80N of force on the parts after they are clipped together?
Is it possible for you to share pictures or images of let's say dummy surfaces showing exact representation of interface you are talking about?
