What makes it good?
Anyone on 3DEXP for lathe? I know the Lathe has been enhanced dramatically for V6 and 3dx, but have not used it.
We jut got our first lathe. the last time I programmed lathers was in the early 1980's with a TI-30. after 6 months, they got me Compact -II

There is lot to say but I will still make CATIA to do the job. Anyway what kind of lathe you got? Is it a 4axis or 5axis Mill-Turn.

It is a 2 axis simple lathe. And w have a Mastercam guy programming it for now. However, it's an interesting topic. The licensing is very expensive on both the CATIA side and also the post side. but I would like to be prepared it if fell on my lap.
