How to write a function to call Manufacturing cell and entities inside it by using VPMOccurence?

I have a function to call any product or part from the CATIA tree. But, the same function is not working for Robot Simulation. I also want to know what is VPM called and difference between PLM & VPM. Kindly help me with this issue.
