Hi COE folks,
(This is being performed in 2018x. I'm going to attempt this in 2021x after I finish posting this message, perhaps it's different there)
I have an assembly. I would like to make a cutaway view of the product using two sections, leaving, essentially, about a quarter of the assembly visible. The two sections are not perpendicular to each other.
I'm using Enovia Design Review and Markups.
If I create two sections inside the markup, the remaining solid item is the desired cut shape, but there are two intersecting contours from the sections themselves still shown, essentially projecting out into space.
How do I only show the solid remainder, and not see the contours of the sections?
I tried:
- Box section. This works if the section cuts are perpendicular, but in this case, the desired section planes are not. Also the persistence of this box section is perplexing.
- Section using Surface - This would be great, but it doesn't look like it's persistent, and the contextual menu does not allow for hiding the cut surface
Thoughts, comments?
Thanks for the advice.
