Hello Ross,

Have you checked out the following link from the 3DX documentation.   https://help.3ds.com/2022x/english/dsdoc/ctgusermap/ctg-t-generatelibrary.htm?contextscope=onpremise

It describes how to export catalog information from CATIA to an xml file and then use the xml file to create a library in 3DX.   Based on your needs, perhaps you can simply crate your own xml file to represent the library data you want to import.   Happy to discuss more with you.  Feel free to reach out.

Thanks for the reply, and sorry for the delay in response.

I initially referenced this in the help documentation: https://help.3ds.com/2022x/english/dsdoc/ExchUserMap/export3dxmlLbc-c-3dxmlExport.htm?contextscope=cloud&id=979e75735f5c46ada1a1f2e0fb402f24

From that information I have been able to export a library structure in both .xml and .3dxml. However, I am not able to import the contents of the library. I don't think attributes are the issue as I didn't create any, the library just stores 3d parts.

I'm not sure if I am missing something or just doing something wrong.
