C# wrapper to CAA interface

Hello!

I am thinking to do a "simple" C++/C# wrapper library of some exposed CAA methods needed, that I can link then and use by my C# app (CATIA Automation add-on). 

I think this should be possible (i.e. without exposing to COM as the Automation), or am I thinking something wrong here maybe, missing something...?

Do I need the CATIA developer license to compile the wrapper DLL? (I guess I will)

Any advice on what I should be watched for/of ?

...but since we are talking of the out-process app here, I guess I cannot avoid wrapping to COM and access by the COM interface - completely forgot about that...

but anyway, any useful hint about the topic (e.g. the licensing part) will be very welcome!

CAA Encyclopedia includes working sample named CAASysSprocket.m or something similar.
