Comprehensive implementations of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for a product development organization have to support a strategy of information sharing with the entire enterprise and with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments in particular. Cross functional business processes need the right data in the right version at the right time. With its open Enterprise Integration Framework (EIF) the 3DEXPERIENCE platform supports the integration into ERP systems and allows to extend and propagate the digital thread into downstream business systems and processes. The presentation will focus on the integration of 3DEXPERIENCE and ERP environments such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics and the implementation of business processes across these enterprise systems. Different integration use cases will be discussed. Practical steps to establish these use cases based on a standard, EIF based integration will be presented.
