User Profile

How do I setup an account?

COE recently launched a new website. Everyone must first Setup an Account to connect to the new COE user portal. If you were a previous COE user, your old credentials will no longer work.

From COE.org, click Login in the top right corner. On the "Setup an Account" tab, enter the email address and password you'd like to use.

If using a different email address than is on your current COE account, no problem! We’ll go through some steps to verify it’s you. Please note: each time you use a different login method, you must use the "Setup an Account" tab.

How do I change my password?

A. Change your password by clicking the login link in the top right corner and then clicking the Don’t remember your password link at the bottom of the login box. Enter your email and then click the Send Email button.

B. If you’ve already logged in, click on My Profile in the top right corner next to the Logout link. This will take you to the user portal. Click the menu on your name and select Change Password.

Individual Membership

How do I renew my membership?

Login to your COE.org account and click on My Profile in the top right corner next to the Logout link. This will take you to the user portal. Navigate to Membership, then My Membership Overview. If the renewal period is open, you will see the option to renew underneath the What Would You Like To Do? menu on the right.

When does my membership expire?

COE memberships run on a calendar year from January to December regardless of what point during the year you join. New memberships processed in October, November, and December will be applied to the following year.

Company Membership

How many members are allowed to have access from my company?

COE membership allows for an unlimited number of employees from corporate, vendor, and academic companies to access the COE website. Individual memberships only cover membership for 1 person.

How do I view my company roster?

If you are the primary contact, you can view your roster by navigating to your profile and then selecting Manage My Organization Contacts from the Membership menu.

How do I find out who the primary contact is for my company?

Once you are viewing your company roster (see question above), click on the Profile tab to see your primary contact.

How can I change or become the primary contact for my company?

Please ask the primary contact to edit your company role and select a primary contact from the drop down. You can also contact COE Headquarters and we can change it for you.

How can I add other employees from my company to our COE account?

A. Corporate, Academic, and Vendor members can add additional names to their accounts. If you are the primary contact, you can view your roster by navigating to your profile and then selecting Manage My Organization Contacts from the Membership menu.

B. To add a new person, click the Add New Contact button and complete the form with their information

How do I remove users from my company?

If you are the primary contact, you can view your roster by navigating to your profile and then selecting Manage My Organization Contacts from the Membership menu. Then click Remove.

When does my membership expire?

How do I renew my organization membership?

Login to your COE.org account and click on My Profile in the top right corner next to the Logout link. This will take you to the user portal. Navigate to Membership, then My Membership Overview. How do I get a receipt for my company’s membership dues?

A receipt will be emailed to the primary contact (or whomever made the payment) on the account. To request another receipt, email COE Headquarters for a duplicate receipt.

Communications

How do I ensure I am receiving all of the latest COE news and announcements?

A. Make sure your email address and mailing address are listed correctly in your profile (accesible under "My Profile" at the top of each COE webpage).

B. Edit your profile to review your opt-in options. You can choose which emails and mailings you’d like to receive.

General Website

What is the best way to search for educational material on the site?

If you are looking for something in particular, use the search box in the upper right-hand corner of any page. Otherwise, navigate to the new content center. Our newly organized content center will allow you to filter by topic area and/or content type to help you narrow in on what you are looking for.

Can I search the COE website from my mobile phone?

Yes, the COE website is mobile friendly. Visit coe.org on your phone and select the mobile friendly version. You can save the site as a bookmark on your phone to create an "app" on your screen.

How do I suggest feedback and/or improvements on the website functionalities?

You can make a post or comment on the "How is COE Doing" discussion thread. Or, you can send an email to COE Headquarters.

I'm a Mac user. How can I get the videos to work?

You'll need to install a Windows Media Video (wmv) player for Mac. The most common is Flip4Mac and is recommended by Microsoft.
