Webinar Abstract
Multi-Axis Flank or MAFC is the most important function for the NC programmer”. Dassault R&D has looked at the enhancement requirements for MAFC. These have been discussed and submitted thru the COE forum, and in the COE Requirements tool. Yes, replacing or reordering drives surfaces is critical. But there are many other essential ideas.
This is a unique opportunity to review a more than a dozen COE MAFC enhancements, and voice your companies priorities on each. During or after or the Webinar, you can log onto Survey Monkey. Score each ER from 1-10 with 10 as most critical, and 1 being not needed. The list of topics for the survey can be downloaded from the COE Members Manufacturing forum to jot notes, prior to the Webinar. Your comments on the live chat will be reviewed by DS R&D and there will be time at the end for questions and comments.
The results of the survey will be compiled, and the discussion will continue at the Annual Experience &TechniFair. Session 6135, MAFC Deep Dive. You should attend this session if you are a MFG manager, or an NC Programmer or ME, to voice the opinions of your company on the future developments of CATIA Machining.
