Abstract
OASIS Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) is an open and scalable approach to lifecycle integration. The goal of OSLC is to create specifications for interactions between PLM, PDM, ERP and ALM tools. OSLC is not trying to standardize the behavior or capability of any domain specific tool, like a test tool or a requirements management tool. OSLC specifies a minimum amount of protocol and a small number of resource types to allow two such tools to work together relatively seamlessly.
Find out what all the buzz is about with OSLC. This session will cover The History of OSLC,The specifications and organizations behind OSLC, and exploration of the applications of OSLC for ALM/PLM and hear first-hand the results of Proof of Concept tests using OSLC for query tools. Bring your tough questions.
