This training session introduces the SIMULIA’s Linear Structural Validation app on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which provides design engineers with easy-to-use tools to perform structural stress analysis on solid parts or assemblies. Topics covered include: - Overview of the Simulation roles and apps on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform - Launching Linear Structural Validation app - Applying material properties - Meshing the model - Setting up loads and boundary conditions - Running the simulation - Reviewing results - Modifying the design to meet strength requirements This hands-on session will demonstrate an interactive exercise on evaluating structural strength of a sheet metal bracket. Each attendee will receive a handout containing the steps performed during the exercise.
