Community Forum FAQs

The COE Swym Community is an online platform where COE members can connect, ask questions, share knowledge and engage with other users of Dassault Systèmes products. It replaces the previous COE User Forum with enhanced collaboration features.

• Invitation emails come from noreply@3dexperience.3ds.com with the subject line containing "COE Independent User Community of DS Product"
• If you received an email with "Invitation" and/or "Getting Started" in the subject, you've been invited
• Another way to confirm: if you can access the COE Swym community from your account, you have been invited.

We recommend using the email associated with your COE Account, however this is not required. If you use an email that already has a 3DS account (for access to Dassault User Community or your work account), the COE Swym Community will be added to the list of environments you have access to. Be sure you navigate to the COE Environment before posting.

If you have an active membership with COE, you can access the Swym Community! Use this opportunity to ask questions and post content within the COE community.

Yes, COE Swym Community is a replacement to the User Forum. We will be removing the User Forum page on the website and be linking the COE 3DSwym Community instead.

Once you are in the Swym app/widget, there is a drop down selection of environments in the top right, underneath your name. Make sure it says “COE Independent User Community of DS Product.” If it doesn’t, select the drop down menu and navigate to it. If you don’t see this as an option, request an invite to the community via the COE website.

Be sure you are in the Swym widget. To do this, click on the compass in the top left, and search for and select 3DSwym. You were likely in the 3DSpace or Dashboard portion of the environment.

Navigate to the User Community of interest (i.e. Design or Data Management and Collaboration). Select the type of post you would like to make from the right (i.e. Question, Post, Idea, etc). Type a title of your post, add content such as text, images, videos, etc. and then Publish! People can now comment, like, and share your post. If you asked a question, feel free to “Validate” the comment that best answered your question – to help out others with the same question!

You can post questions, general discussion topics, ideas, polls and more. You can also share images, videos, and other rules to help illustrate your points or questions. The community is organized by community divisions – Design, Data Management & Collaboration, Develop & Deploy, Manufacturing, and Industry Solutions.
